100 Days of Imperfect Practice

What do you think would happen if you chose to create the same thing 100 times? Do you think that you would have the opportunity to get better at that one thing? Would you know the in's and out's and nuances of creating that one thing, whatever it may be? ABSOLUTELY! I believe that you would get to a mastery level in whatever you were creating.

But most artists stop short. Why? Distraction, lack of focus and consistency.

I believe that it's important for every artist to consistently show up in their work and go deeper into their creative practice. But so often, we get stuck in a creative block of perfection. We forget that it's okay to just play and explore lots of ideas within the guidelines of one expression or style. Having a focus in your creative practice is so incredibly powerful!!!

100 Days of Imperfect Practice is about doing quick, informal work on paper with a focus and goal in mind.

Are you ready to take your work to the next level? Get ready for your skills to be expanded exponentially when you commit to this challenge and show up consistently.

This course includes a pep talk, and a short watercolor lesson where I talk about my process and what I am trying to accomplish within my own work.

Note: You do not need to be participating in the 100 Day Project to work through this course. Feel free to do it on your own timeline as well! But if you are doing the 100 Day Project, this course will be a powerful tool to assist you.

There are no materials or supplies needed for this class, except for whatever you plan to use for your 100 works on paper.

This challenge is something that I encourage all of my Masterpiece Makers to do within my Mentorship Program.
