Hello and welcome to Day 1. Each day you will receive a color tip from me, a creative prompt and a color of the day. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Today's Color Tip- Avoid using paint right out of the tube. If you do use it right out the tube, be purposeful in the colors that you select. Choose your colors first, then figure out what paints you need to use to get to that color.

Today's Creative Prompt- Choose one color. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue or Purple. MUST be one of those colors. Try to start with a color that has chromatic purity, meaning a color that can be made with the primary colors of Red, Yellow and Blue. Using that color, AND the two colors on either side of it on the color wheel, white, black and grey, see how many variations that you can get of one shade. Use white to get pastels. Use black to get dark. Use grey to get dull.
