Art Show Prep In One Day. Yep. That is correct. I will tell you all you need to know to get ready for an art show. In One Day. You might not get everything done for your art show, but you will at least have it planned out.

Are you prepping for an art show but don't know where to start? Do you need help pricing your items? Would you like to organize some art pieces to put in your online store? Would you like to get yourself ready to offer artwork to your customers this holiday season but have no idea what will sell or how to do it in a way to get their attention? Are you not even close to putting together an art show but want to know how to approach it when you are ready?

Art shows can be the biggest pain. You can put hours and hours of work into them and not make a single penny. Trust me. I know. Been there. Done that! In fact, it's kinda why I haven't done an actual art show in years. BUT, I sell tons of artwork in my Etsy store. Like, tons. But I have done my time. So I do know a little bit about doing Art Shows in person as well.

I would love to share with all of you my expertise on how to prepare for your art show. So whether you are signed up to do a holiday art show already and have no clue what the heck you are doing. Or... if you simply want to design some products to sell on Facebook to all of your friends and family. I can help... First of all, I can tell you all of the things NOT to do so that you do not come down with a case of Art Show Bitterness. Practical tips on how to avoid big pitfalls. But also, I can give you tons of behind the scenes information to help you approach your art show in a way that will have you soaring and making a little extra money to spend on your families this year.

The course will be part live and part here on Teachable. I will be giving you an online outline here on Teachable for how to go about getting ready for your art show. Downloadable checklists to help you be prepared for your big day. All sorts of other practical tips for making your Art Show successful.

The LIVE portion of this class will take place on Saturday, December 1st 1:00- 3:00 PM MST. I will be sharing with you some inspiration for different products for your art show. I will show you some pieces that I am working on currently for my Etsy shop. Q/A time where you get to ask me whatever you want in regards to Art Shows. I might even paint a bit during our time!!! You are also welcome to paint on your pieces that you are getting ready for your show. Bring whatever you are working on! Or listen and take notes.

My name is Wendy Brightbill and I am somewhat of a creative wanderer, an artist who enjoys exploring a multitude of mediums and styles. I love messy child-like play especially when it involves paint. I picked up a paintbrush after a car accident rearranged my brain from a closed head injury. I believe that there is healing to be found in art making and getting lost in the process. I try not to treat my art as being too precious, and yet, I am deeply committed to my daily creative practice. Art making is a little like breathing air for me. I can’t live without it. I am also a mother to three beautiful girls and a wife of 17 years to my biggest cheerleader. I have lived in Colorado for all of my life. All I ever needed to know, I learned from being a kindergarten teacher for four years. I just turned forty and I am finding this new found super power of saying no to the things that don’t bring me joy or peace.

How long do I have access to the course?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.
What if I can't make the Live portion of this class?
You can watch the replay in the Facebook Group.
What if I am not planing on doing an art show just yet, can I just gather information?
Absolutely! This class is for anyone and everyone wanting to start doing research on all that goes into an art show.
Do I need to have art to sell before taking this class?
Absolutely not. In fact, I will be working on my own art pieces to add into my Etsy.
Do I need to have tons of cash to invest in product?
Yes and no. It is helpful to have some seed money to invest in your show. But I don't recommend spending a whole bunch of money up front unless you really know things will sell. I will give you creative ways to avoid spending too much money.
Can I do a Virtual Art Show?
Absolutely! Especially with the way that technology is going, you do not need to do in person art shows these days. I sell most of my artwork online now.
Do I need to have an art show scheduled to participate in the class?
Nope. And if you are not inspired after our time together to put a little online something up, then I would be very surprised! This will totally get you inspired to start Art Showing like a boss.
