Cultivate Creativity
Get UN-STUCK and Back Into Creative Flow
Ready to hack the creative cycle and get back into creative flow in your life?
WARNING: BEING IN A STATE OF CREATIVE FLOW IS ADDICTING.
PROCEED WITH CAUTION.
POSSIBLE SYMPTOMS CAN INCLUDE: IGNORING EVERY DAY RESPONSIBILITIES IN ORDER TO CREATE!
There really is nothing like being in a state of creative flow in your life!!!
When I am in a state of creative flow, everything just falls into place.
Creating is effortless.
I am inspired but not to the point of overwhelm.
I have a focus in my art.
Sharing and selling is a delight and not a chore.
I don't have to try too hard.
I am obsessed about the work that I am making, to the point that art just happens.
I jump out of bed in the morning because I am so excited to get back into the studio.
And I suppose that is what keeps me coming back to create more art.
If you have ever experienced moments of creative flow, you understand how addicting it can be!!!
Being stuck is the worst feeling for most artists! Stagnancy will drag any artist down.
Are you avoiding your art studio like the plague?
Do you feel like you just don't have time for making art?
Inspiration overwhelm so real that you end up creating nothing?
Find yourself endlessly scrolling social media and feeling inadequate when you really need to just go paint?
These are just a few of the ways that Stuck Energy will show up for you!
As an artist with 15+ years of experience, I just have to say that there is nothing like the feeling of being in a creative flow. Creativity comes easily and effortlessly... You seriously LOVE the art that you are making. Sharing and selling your art GETS to be easy.
My creative journey into becoming an artist really taught me the creative power of my thoughts; that it DOES matter what I choose to cultivate in my life. Creativity is abundance. You see, when I sat down and started painting these bright happy paintings, the real transformation happened in my heart and my life. I started experiencing what I was painting on my canvas. I chose to look for the beauty in my mundane moments through the process of making art. But the real transformation happened in my life, not the canvas. Your perspective and the way that you look at your life can change YOU. So what do you want to CULTIVATE in 2025?
As artists, It can be so easy to get bogged down with all of the worries and cares of this world. We artists are sensitive people who are impacted by the world around us on the daily. What does it mean to be an artist and what does it look like to live from a place of vulnerability and honesty? How can we thrive as artists today? Where does social media fit and how can we craft a life that we don't need a vacation from? What does it look like to live from a place of true abundance?
Are you ready to make the art of your dreams?
Are you ready to put together a roadmap for your art practice and business?
Are you feeling called to cultivate your creative voice?
Are you ready to find your tribe of creative peeps and start building community?
Are you feeling the call to make a creative shift in your art but not sure where to start?
Are you ready to finally start taking steps toward those big bold dreams and start living a life of abundance as an artist?
Are you ready to let go of what hasn't been working for you and heal from creative burn out?
Is it time to let go of the things that have been draining your creative energy and hit the creative reset button?
YOU ARE INVITED to...
I find that any time I am feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, or even defeated, it's because I am not making space in my life for creativity. I am not prioritizing rest and allowing space to just be. I am attaching my identity to external measurements, like whether or not my art sells. Or I have unrealistic expectations on myself to be something that I am not.
Maybe your art business is not all that you envisioned it to be and you are feeling a bit disillusioned as an artist?
Maybe you are ready to finally stop playing at being an artist and take actionable steps and go from HOBBY ARTIST to PROFESSIONAL ARTIST?
“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life” -Pablo Picasso
What is it that you really want to cultivate in your creative practice and art business right now?
Let's find some clarity together...
After pursuing this creative path for the last fifteen years, I have learned a few things:
1. At the top of this list, is honoring the creative cycle. Creativity is about letting go of control and leaning into the process. If I am holding onto anything too tightly, there will not be room for creativity to flow into my life.
2. Mindset dictates everything. I don't know how many times I have found that my perspective is the number one thing that can tear everything down, or build the life that I desire to be living. Comparison is the thief of joy. Lack mentality and competition keeps me living in fear. Living from a mindset of abundance, generosity, and gratitude is a requirement for me if I want to stay in a creative flow.
3. Inauthenticity is not sustainable. When I am trying to be someone I am not, I will not be able to continue down that path for any considerable length of time. It's not sustainable and will always lead to burn out. Being an artist requires a level of authenticity and honesty in all of my choices. (Pssst... This can also happen when it's time to move on from a certain style of making art because it no longer feels like me anymore!)
When is the last time that you made a piece of art that you absolutely loved so much that you didn't care if it sold or not, because it was the truest expression of your heart? That my friend, is the true gauge of authenticity!
4. Creativity doesn't happen inside of a vacuum. We need each other if we are going to make it as an artist! Stop seeing other artists as competition and start seeing them as your support system. Living as an artist can be incredibly lonely. Collaboration should be valued over competition.
5. Consistency is key when it comes to showing up in your craft. Make lots of art. Let go of it needing to be perfect. Make ugly art if you have to... The only way to get better is to just commit to making lots of art. Clarity comes through action.
Commit to going deeper and working in a series. Focus in your creative practice is EVERYTHING! When you commit to getting better in one particular area, you will see exponential growth in your creative practice.
6. Finding your own unique creative expression is so important. Developing your own style is key to standing out as an artist and selling your work. Plus, when you find your own creative voice, making art is so much more rewarding and fulfilling.
Are you a PASSIONATE ARTIST ready to throw away the starving artist paradigm and sell your work without the hustle?
Imagine what it would be like to:
- Create art that makes you leap out of bed in the morning with a giddy sense of excitement to get back into the studio.
- Discover the process and expression that truly feels most like you, and flows from a place of ease and play.
- Sell out a collection of work in 24 hours.
Let me paint the picture a little bit more...
Cha-ching! Another sale notification lights up your phone. You walk into your studio and look around with a sense of wonder and excitement. You are making the art of your dreams! You have more clarity around the direction of your work, which feels like a true expression of your soul. You have a stack of SOLD paintings waiting to be shipped out to loyal collectors all over the world. You keep pinching yourself that you get to do this for a living!
Psssst...It's not about selling as much as it's about releasing your art and staying in a creative flow.

YOUR BIGGEST CHEERLEADER!!!
Because let's face it, being an artist is not for the faint of heart. It takes grit and spunk. And you are going to need to surround yourself with a tribe of peeps who will help you go farther.
I used to be a creative nomad, meaning I tried every style, genre and expression out there. I had to try all the things before I started to figure out what I really loved. I will never forget my big “A-ha” moment, when I started to recognize that there was a MAJOR disconnect between the work that I was making and the work that I was magnetically drawn to. In that moment, I made a decision to stop making art for other people and what I thought would sell and start making art for me and the process I loved making. It might sound counter intuitive to make art just for you in order to sell it. But your work takes on a new level of attraction when you decide to do what really brings YOU joy.

How is this course different or similar to Masterpiece Makers?
This is really the closest that you will get to the content within Masterpiece Makers. I wanted to offer some of the content inside MM in a more affordable way. Cultivate includes a sampling of the lessons within MM, but not even close to all of them. The biggest difference though is that Cultivate has NO LIVE ZOOM component. MM has a total of 14 Zoom Coaching Calls with one on one feedback from me. Cultivate will not have nearly the same level of individualized support. It is work at your own pace.
How is this course different from Style Lab?
There is a little bit of overlap between Style Lab and Cultivate. Style Lab is basically a super in depth look at ONLY module 3 of Cultivate, Innovation and Inspiration. Style Lab includes a library of technique lessons designed to help you develop your creative style. There are no technique lessons at all inside of Cultivate!
